The Top Thing Intermittent Fasting REALLY Did
You’ve heard the buzz about intermittent fasting, but does it really work? I did it for one month and here’s what I found…

The Fall Fit Up Changed My Life
A few weeks ago brought the end of the Fall Fit Up, my 3-month group coaching program. And it’s LIFE CHANGING. For me. From their feedback on the program, it is for them as well (more on that for another blog post), but it is absolutely life changing for me.
Took Thanksgiving Dinner Too Far… So What?
So you ate ALLLLL of thanksgiving dinner… turkey, stuffing, mashed taters with all the fixin’s, and threw in a couple buttered rolls to boot. Oh, and don’t forget the slice of pumpkin pie annnnd (admits sheepishly) how you didn’t want to offend anyone, so you went ahead and tried the other two desserts, too. Sound familiar?
Results From A Month of Intermittent Fasting
The number one, most noticeable and effective thing about intermittent fasting that I found was: I stopped eating the shit I normally eat after 8pm. That’s hands-down the single most effective thing it did for me.
Don’t Wait in Holiday Limbo
Holiday slumps are a real thing – watching everyone else seem to enjoy all the festivities and holiday cheer while all you want to do is hibernate and do, well, nothing. And that’s okay! You’re allowed to hibernate and take care of you. And if you want to be one of those women who’s fa-la-la-ing the shit out of the holidays, you can! But don’t wait to start in 2022.
Habit Stack Your Non-Existent Free Time
Now that you’ve realized you likely do multiple habit stacks throughout your day, you might also be realizing that your days usually have you going right from one thing to the next, to the next. There is no ‘spare’ time when you’re working and taking care of your kids and managing the house and doing allll the things.
Find Your New Normal With Friends
Because we’re such social creatures, it’s no surprise that the things those around us do, also influence what we do. Everything from our clothes to our lingo to our social norms. Which is why having people around you who also value themselves and their health is a MASSIVE factor for you and your lifestyle, too.
Your Weight Is Not Your Worth
You are worthy of feeling great, you are worthy of showing up confidently – no matter your weight. But if your weight is holding you back from doing that, then it matters, because YOU matter.
Overwhelmed by Workout Options? Start Here.
There are endless amounts of workouts on the ole interwebs, so many that YouTube won’t even tell you how many there are. But we’re talking hundreds of thousands.
Thou Shall Give Into Temptation (Bundles)
Temptation bundling gets its name because it’s taking a habit that you may think of as a temptation-type habit and stacking it with a habit that may not be as tempting, but you know is good for you and you want to establish it.
You Don’t Have To Get Back In Shape Alone
Even as a health coach, I don’t want to get and stay healthy all on my own. I’m sure I could, but I don’t WANT to. It’s so much more fun with other people. Helping cheer them on when they’re crushing it; motivating them when they’ve fallen off a bit. It’s the other people that make it so much more fun and do-able.
Are We All Insane?
Because when it comes to our health, I’m seeing the same questions pop up over and over and over. Not because we truly don’t know the answers (I think most people do), but because we want a different answer than the one we’ve been getting.
How to Find What ACTUALLY Works
As humans we have a difficult time taking our time when it comes to our health … or anything really. We want results yesterday – which is funny because we’re wired NOT to want change. If we start smaller though, we can find what ACTUALLY works.
