It’s Not Your Fault—But It Is Your Responsibility
It’s not your fault.
You were never taught how to properly work out or fuel your body in school. No one sat you down and explained how strength training benefits your metabolism or how protein helps keep you full. Instead, you were expected to just know these things, to pick them up from the ether somehow. And when that didn’t happen, when you found yourself struggling with weight, energy, or consistency, it felt like a personal failing. But it’s not.
The System Failed You
On top of that, the entire health and fitness industry has spent decades convincing women that they’re not enough. That they need a special powder, pill, or piece of equipment to finally lose the weight, tone up, and feel confident. Marketers thrive on making you feel bad about yourself because when you feel bad, you buy. You buy the diet shakes, the waist trainers, the magic supplements, hoping this time will be different. But the truth is, you were never the problem. The system was designed to keep you stuck.
So, no. It’s not your fault. Not when you were a kid, not when you were a teenager, not even when you first started realizing you wanted to change. You were working with the knowledge (or lack of knowledge) that you had. But now? Now, you know better. You know that real, lasting health isn’t found in a quick fix or a flashy promise—it’s built through sustainable habits, consistency, and a commitment to yourself.
The Shift
And here’s where things shift: it is now your responsibility. It’s not fair, I know. You shouldn’t have to unlearn decades of misinformation just to feel good in your own skin. But the reality is, as an adult, the onus is on you to take care of yourself and your family. No one is coming to do it for you. That doesn’t mean you have to do it alone, though.
I’m here to help. I want to give you the tools, the knowledge, and the support to make lasting changes without the guilt, shame, or overwhelm. Because once you strip away all the noise, all the marketing, all the “you’re not good enough” messages, the truth is simple: you absolutely can do this. And I’ll be right here to guide you every step of the way.
